The short answer
We run private airport and cruise transfers out of Lithgow and the mountains either side of it. You tell us the address, the date and the flight; we quote a fare that does not move; a vehicle sized to your group arrives at your door and takes you straight to the terminal. Nobody else is in the car, there are no detours, and the fare is paid in advance to lock the booking in.
Fares to Sydney Airport start at $249 from Leura and run to $499 from the Wolgan Valley for one or two passengers, with a published price for every group size up to eleven. If your flight can also leave from Western Sydney Airport, that fare is sixty dollars less from the same door, because WSI is the shorter, untolled trip from this side of the range. Every fare is on the fares page — there is no quote form standing between you and the number.
We are a locally driven, NSW Point to Point accredited booking service — more about who we are — and the fastest way to get a price is to call or send the details.
The airport on the near side of the range
WSI opens to passengers on 25 October 2026 at Badgerys Creek. Coming down off the mountains you turn for the new airport before you ever reach the city — so from all 65 suburbs we serve it is closer than Mascot, and the fare is sixty dollars less.
| From | To Sydney Airport | To Western Sydney Airport | Closer by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Katoomba | 105 km | 68 km | 37 km |
| Leura | 102 km | 65 km | 37 km |
| Blackheath | 115 km | 78 km | 37 km |
| Mount Victoria | 121 km | 84 km | 37 km |
| Hartley | 134 km | 101 km | 33 km |
| Lithgow | 144 km | 112 km | 32 km |
| Bowenfels | 146 km | 114 km | 32 km |
| Wallerawang | 158 km | 126 km | 32 km |
| Portland | 170 km | 138 km | 32 km |
| Capertee | 188 km | 157 km | 31 km |
Every one of our 65 suburbs is closer to WSI than to Sydney Airport — between 20 and 37 km each way — and none of the route is tolled, because you leave the highway for Badgerys Creek before the Sydney motorways. We pass that shorter drive back as a lower fare: WSI is sixty dollars under the Mascot run from every door.

How we work
Quoted before you commit and unchanged afterwards. No surge at 4am, no toll line on the receipt, no airport levy surprise.
Payment in advance confirms the booking and holds your vehicle: card or PayID, or cash by arrangement, with no card surcharge.
Inbound trips are keyed to your flight number. Land ninety minutes late and the driver is still there, at no extra cost.
Capsules, seats and boosters fitted before we leave. Tell us the ages when you book; there is no hire charge.
A private vehicle from your door to the terminal. No other passengers, no detours, no waiting in a car park for a connection.
An NSW Point to Point accredited booking service with commercially insured, locally based drivers who know the range in the dark.
The 6am flight problem
Sydney Airport is a two-hour-plus drive down off the range. International check-in wants you there three hours before departure, domestic two — so we count the pickup backwards from your flight, never forwards from the alarm. You get the exact time in writing, and there is no surcharge for the hour.
| Your flight from Sydney | Driver at your door in Lithgow | Overnight surcharge |
|---|---|---|
| 6:00 AM departure | around 1:40 AM | $0 |
| 8:00 AM departure | around 3:40 AM | $0 |
Peak traffic: if you need to reach the airport between 5am and 10am, or between 2pm and 7pm, the drive takes longer and we may collect you earlier than the times above.
Every suburb has its own confirmed leave-by time — Katoomba and Leura a little later than Lithgow, the Capertee and Wolgan country a little earlier. The alternatives are a night in a Sydney hotel or your own car left in airport parking; we would rather you slept in your own bed until the driver knocks.
See leave-by times by suburbThe honest comparison
We are one of four realistic ways to reach the airport, and we are not the right one for every trip. Here is where each genuinely wins.
| Option | How it prices | Works pre-dawn? | Best when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Our shuttle | Fixed, by the number of passengers booked | Yes — same fare at 2am | Two or more people, or any pre-dawn flight |
| Train | Per person, plus a change and the airport station access fee | No service early enough | One traveller, light bags, a mid-morning flight |
| Taxi or rideshare | Metered or surged, moves on the day | Coverage up here is thin | Short local trips, not a two-hour airport run |
| Drive & park | Fuel both ways, plus daily airport parking | If you are the one driving | One or two nights away, and you want the car there |
Prices for the other three move constantly, so we do not publish figures we cannot stand behind — check them on the day and put them beside ours. For two or more passengers we are almost always the cheapest per head, and for a pre-dawn flight usually the only realistic plan.
The vehicle that turns up
One or two passengers with full-size luggage. The default for couples and solo travellers on an early departure over the mountains.
Three or four passengers with cases, a pram, and the sort of luggage a family actually travels with rather than the amount a sedan boot claims to hold.
Five or six passengers with room behind the seats for the bags. The cruise vehicle by default, whatever the headcount, because cruise luggage is not airline luggage.
Seven to eleven seats and a luggage area rather than a boot. Extended families, tour groups and work crews travelling together in one vehicle for one fare.

Booking
Your address, the date, the flight number and how many of you are travelling.
You get the price and the pickup time in writing. Pay in advance to confirm and the vehicle is locked in.
At your door, or in the arrivals hall with your name on the sign.
It is already paid, so you simply take your bags and go. Receipt by email or text if you need one.
Coming home
Give us the flight number and we track the aircraft in — a delay moves the pickup at no charge. The driver waits up to an hour after landing at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, then meets you at the pickup point for your terminal.
Rideshare Pickup Area inside the P7 car park, directly opposite the terminal. We message you the bay once you have landed.
Priority Pick-up off the P1 walkway. Follow the Priority & Express Pick-up signs from arrivals.
Priority Pick-up along the P1 walkway, with a hand for the bags kerb to car at every terminal.
Questions
It depends on the suburb, the destination and the group size, and every combination is published. To Sydney Airport, fares start at $249 from Leura and $399 from Lithgow itself for one or two passengers, rising with distance and group size. If your flight can instead leave from Western Sydney Airport, that fare is sixty dollars less from the same door. A group of eleven travels in one minibus for one fare rather than paying per head.
Because from this side of the range it is genuinely the shorter, easier trip. Coming down off the mountains you turn for Badgerys Creek before you ever reach the Sydney motorways, so the drive is 20 to 37 km shorter and none of it is tolled. We pass that back as a lower fare — sixty dollars under Mascot — rather than pretending the two airports cost the same.
Yes. The fare is agreed when you book and does not change afterwards. Tolls, GST, fuel, airport access fees, luggage and child restraints are already inside it, and there is no early-morning, late-night or public-holiday loading. If the traffic on the range or at the Sydney end is worse than expected, that is our problem, not a line on your invoice.
Yes. Payment is taken in advance to confirm your booking and lock in the vehicle, by card or PayID, or cash by arrangement. There is no card surcharge.
We run both Sydney terminals. The Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay is thirty dollars over the Sydney Airport fare from your suburb; White Bay at Rozelle is twenty dollars over, ten dollars less than the Quay, because the run past the Anzac Bridge is easier than the harbour CBD. Both come with help at the kerb and a vehicle sized for cruise luggage.
We track the flight number, so the pickup moves with it automatically and there is no charge for the delay. We allow an hour from touchdown at T1 and forty minutes at T2 and T3, measured from when the aircraft actually lands. WSI has a single terminal and the same tracked, no-charge allowance.
Yes, in one minibus at one fare. That is nearly always cheaper than two or three cars and it keeps the group together, which matters more than the money when there is a check-in deadline.
Twenty-four to forty-eight hours is comfortable. Book earlier for a minibus, for school holidays and for the Christmas and January cruise season. Last-minute requests are always worth a call — a pre-dawn pickup off the mountains is routine work for us.
The full FAQ covers payment, cancellation, luggage and accessibility.
Tell us the suburb and the flight. We will quote in a minute and hold nothing on your card.
These are our own transfers — the van at the Sydney Airport kerb, a full boot of the group’s suitcases, and customers dropped right at their cruise ship.
